THE EMO GODS: MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE

MCR is an American rock, emo, punk and alternative band from New Jersey. It is formed by Gerard and Mike Way, Ray Toro and Frank Iero. The band was born in 2001, after the twin towers were attacked and Gerard decided to do something productive with his life. They started playing at small concert halls, where a talent scout from Eyeball Records saw them. After signing for the record company, they released their first album "I brought you my bullets, You brought me your love", but it wasn't until they released "Tree cheers for sweet revenge" that they didn't become famous. After that, they did two more albums "The black parade" and "Danger days: the true lives of the Fabulous Killjoys". In 2013, the band separated, but on Halloween of this year they announced their comeback after six years of hiatus.

Although they are not known in Spain, My Chemical Romance is a band that marked the childhood of lots of American kids. They are part of the "Emo Trinity", along with Fall Out Boy and Panic! At The Disco. Their song "Welcome to the black parade" is considered the emo Bohemian Rhapsody.

Some of their most famous songs are: Welcome to the black parade, Na Na Na (Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na), I'm not okay (I promise), Cancer, Teenagers, I don't love you, DESTROYA, Sing, Planetary (GO!), The ghost of you, Helena and Famous last words.

I think that studing abroad is so exitting, and I think that every student who like new experiences have to try it. You can learn a lot of that place and learn a foreing lenguage. 

Some of the most important universities are in the USA or the UK, so if you want to study there,you have to travel to another country or to another continent. Cambridge, Harvard, Oxford and Stanford are consideret the best universities.

Another reason for the people to study abroad is the cultural experience. Because you can learn about the country, their traditions and the special events that they celebrate. Also you can learn of the traditional music of the country and you can learn them.

You must have a hight level of English or of the lenguage of these country for trabel there. Because if you don't have it you can not meet new people because you can not comunicate whith them. 

In conclusion, I think that study abroad is better than study in your own country because you can learn another lenguage, another culture and meet new friends.

In my opinion, studying abroad is great because you learn a lot and you are lucky enough to meet many people.The advantages of studying abroad is that  it gives a great experience to learn about other cultures and lifestyles, make newfriends, you can interact with different methods of teaching and teachers of recognized quality, you have access to a category, further studies high and new opportunities for research, learn other languages ​​and also opens up opportunities to work abroad, or toobtain other employment when you return to your home country.

Now the disadvantages are also numerous, as you will need a long time to adapt to the customs of the country you are going to study,since it is not easy, also you miss your country, your home, your family and friends and all people who appreciate, also requiresseveral specific requirements and the last disadvantage is thatstudy abroad is very expensive, but can give some scholarships.
In conclusion, study abroad have their pros and cons, but I think it'svery nice to have a more or less high level of other languages,because languages​​, especially English, are required in most jobs.

Study abroad I think that is an amazing thing that every student who like new experiences have to do it. You can learn a lot of that place and learn the language.

First of all, if you are lucky, you can study in a better university than the old on you studied. It can have a lot of new things that you didn’t know about it,

Another thing that is good for study abroad is the cultural experience, because you can learn about the city and their traditions, the special events that they celebrate. Also you can learn the recipes of the traditional food of the city and show off about it.

Apart from that, you can meet some friendly people that they can help you with the language, they can show you all the city and explain the important monuments. You can take good friends studying abroad.

In conclusion, I think that study abroad is better than study in your own country because you can learn more things.

Nowadays, a great number of young people decide to study abroad and leave behind their country, at least for some years. According to statistics, 120.000 people leave Spain to study every year. But, what are the reasons for the youth making this decision?

First, some of the most important universities are in the USA or the UK, so if you want to study there, your options are a distance course or travelling to that country. The universities that are considered the bests are: Cambridge, Harvard, Oxford, the MIT and Stanford.

Another reason for the people to study abroad is the cultural experience and the opportunity to meet new people. Your new classmates would be from other nationalities, so you could talk with them, learn their traditions, try their food, make new friendships, etc.

Your level of English or other languages will also be improved if you go to study to a country where they don't speak Spanish, because you would be forced to find a way to communicate with your new mates, your teachers and everybody else around you, so you have to talk in English.

To sum up, we can say that, although it is expensive, studying abroad is a very good option if you are a student and want to try new things, meet new people, learn other cultures and improve your language skills.

Some students study abroad rather than in their own contries. It has advantatges and disatvantatges.

First of all, if you go to another countrie that doesn't speak your lengauage, you can learn a lot about the lengauge, or progress it. 
Secondly, in the abroad maybe you can find best universities like the Harvard one, or the Stanford one. This universities are the best of the wordl. 
Also, you can explore many things of a different culture, visit many things, met people, take advantatge of nobodys know you and nobody can't judge you. Apart from that, your parents can't contreole you, and you have a lot of liberty and time fot you.

It also has bad things. One thing to consider is that you start a new life, you have to make new friends, and be secure that you will miss your actually friends. Another thing is that you will be alone in a house (well, it depends of each case) and you will not have a mother to makes your food, to keep you clothes and to kiss you every morning. 

In my opinion, I thing that is a very good form to lear a new lengauge, to met interesting people and an oportunity to visit many places. For sure, i thing that it can be a difficult experience, but alse you can test your capacities.

To sum up, I will say that is an experience that you must do one time in your life at least, because maybe you really like it and you want to repeat it.

Anime Synopsis: Fruits Basket (Carla Yu)

ANIME: Fruits Basket
Fruits Basket is a manga writen and ilustrated by Natsuki Takaya.
This serie has two anime adaptations, like Fullmetal Alchemist (previously mentioned), one adaptation in 2001 and the other in 2019. The first serie had one seasion of 26 episodes, so was unfinished. The new remake it's still ongoing, for now only has one seasion with 26 episodes, but this new anime will adapt all the manga.

PLOT:
Tohru Honda was only 15 years when her mother passed away last year, causing that she had to live in a tent until the renovations of her grandfather's hause finished.
One day she woke up to go to the school, and she ''discovered'' a big hause, on this hause lives Yuki Sohma (her classmate) and Shigure (Yuki's big cousin).
Coming back from shcool a grandslide covered all Tohru's tent, but fortunatly Yuki invited her to his hause until the renomations are finished.
Next morning when she woke up suddently appeared Kyo Sohma, Shigure and Yuki's cousin. Both of them Yuki and Kyo started to fight and Tohru unintentionally collided with the three cousing and suddently they transformed into three chineese zodiac animals, Yuki was a rat, Shigure a dog and Kyo a cat.
Tohru will live Shigure's hause and will met new members of the principal sohma family she will discover that some of them are cursed by the chineese zodiac and the spirit of the cat, all of them with a tragic chillhood or with psichologilal traumas, Tohru will help all them to superate the curse.

Fate is an anime based on a videogames saga called Fate/ Stay night. This anime is animated by UFOTABLE and belongs to Fate saga, a saga with a lot of spin-off from Fate/ Stay night, different animes that explains differents situations in differents routes or time-lines but with the same characters from the original Fate.

PLOT:
Wizards were in a constant battle to decide who is the best or the most powerfull wizard family, but this have changed with the discovery of the Saint Grial, a magical chalice with unlimited powers that can give to the one who conquired the Grial one wish.
The Grial have to choose seven wizards or humans with magic, those wizards have a reason to conqueer the Grial or one very  important wish that want to make true.
Wizards have to invoke servants, those servants are ancient historical heroes with one wish that couldn't make real in their pasts lifes.
Masters control their servant with the obedience spell. Servant and master have to fight againts the other masters and servants in a war to conqueer the saint Grial.
It exist different types of servants: Saber, Archer, Lancer, Rider, Assassin, Berserker and Caster, that represent different legends.

How every Makoto Shinkai's films, this movie have an incredible and amazing animation and a wonderful sountrack composed by the J-rock group RADWIMPS, who also made Your name's soundtrack.

PLOT:
Jodaka is a 16 years old guy who have run away from his home. He have just arrived to Tokyo, thought it's summer, it is always raining...
He started to work in a little editorial and one day he met Hina, a mysterious girl who can control the weather. They will inmediatly become friends and they will start a little company to save money for Hina and his little brother.
But not everything are laughts and smiles, Hina's power will have very bad consequences...
Jodaka will have a constant battle against destiny to be able to saty with Hina.

Serie: Daybreak (Claudia)

This serie is new, it was related a few months ago, and I think that is a very good serie. The sinopsis of the serie is that a bomb turn all the adults into zombie and the people who survived is divided in groups, expect one boy that is searching his girlfriend. In all the serie he met people who help him. I think they are going to do another season, because the final of this is a little open and if the do the thinks good, they can do an amazing season.

Glee is one of my favorite serie. This serie is a musical comedy. The sinopsis is that one day, the new teacher have the initiative of restart the old choir of William McKinley High School because he went when he was younger, he inspire to the students to join him and win some competition of choir. This serie talks about relationships, sexuality, discrimination and bullying. It have 6 season, but the episodes go by so fast and you want to watch more episodes. I recommend this serie a lot.

Why Don't We is an American boy band consisting of Zachary Dean Herron, Jack Robert Avery, Daniel James Seavey, Corbyn Matthew Besson, and Jonah Marais.

The band originally formed on September 27, 2016, after having all met in Los Angeles, California, a year prior. On October 7, 2016, the group released their debut single "Taking You," a track from their debut EP, Only the Beginning, which was released on November 25 of the same year. They take one song each month .

On August 31, 2018, they released their first album, 8 letters. In March 2019, they embarked on the "8 letters tour ".

Nowadays, when you think about popular music, Reggaeton and trap come to your mind, but there was a period of time, in the early 2000's, when alternative rock music was all that people listened to, and at the top of that movement was Linkin Park. The Californian band was formed by Mike Shinoda, Dave Farrell, Joe Hahn, Brad Delson, Rob Bourdon and Chester Bennington, and stayed active until 2017, after Chesters death. They have won many awards around the world and, in 2003, the MTV named them the third best band of the new millennium.

Serie: Game of Thrones (Claudia)

Game of thrones

This serie, I think, it’s one of the best series I have ever seen. The sinopsis of this serie is that some kingdoms fight between them for the throne after the dead of the king. It’s very interesting because you don’t know who wins the throne until the end.In this serie you don’t have to have affection with the characters because when you least expect, one character die.

This series is going better season by season, but the last season are the worst, because the writers summarize 3 seasons in 1 and they didn’t wanted to continue with the writer of the book. I recommend this serie if you like this type of series and you have to have a lot of free time to see it, because are 8 seasons with 73 in total and in each episode 1 hour.

Lately, I realize that there are Spanish series that I like a lot, such as VisaVis, the paper house, or elite. I'm surprised that during my childhood I was accustomed to watching English series of English actors, to the point of thinking that there were no Spanish series! Or that these were so bad that nobody looked at them.

Serie Review: The 100 (Claudia)

The 100

Today I’m going to talk about one of my favorite series, The 100. The sinopsis is that the world is destroyed by a nuclear apocalypse and the world wasn’t habitable. Some of the people escape of this in a spaceship. After 3 generations, the government of the spaceship, decided to take 100 people to the world to know if is habitable or not. The 100 are teenagers that they did some ilegal thing. In the Earth pass some things that they didn’t know what are.

The first season is the only that have relation with the name of the serie, because eventually some people die on the all serie.

Each season have a different “villain” that do the serie very entertained and good, I recommend it.

Natsume yuujin-chou is an anime and manga written and ilustrated by Yuki Midorikawa. It has 6 seasions and one film. It is a very old animation, causing that anime has a nostalgic atmosphere, fitting perfectly according to the story...

PLOT:
Natsume Takashi is a very introvert guy that, since he was a little kid could saw ayakashis (traditional japanese spirits) causing that he couldn't make any friends during his chilhood... All his chillhood has been going with different relatives, beacuse when he was young his parents died in an accident. Finally he moved to a different city with a different family...
One day Natsume found a diary that was from his grandmother, Reiko. Is it known that Reiko could see ayakashis too.
That diary is the "Friend's diary", a notebook with a lot of different ayakashi's names. When you defeat an ayakashi and you write his name in the diary that spirit will become your servant.
When Natsume was coming back from his school, he mets Madara, a very powerful ayakashi that wanted to stole Natsume's diary, they finally make a threat: When Natsume dies, the Friend's diary will pass to Madara.
Natsume still want to return all the Ayakashis names as fast as possible before Madara could have the dairy... With Madara's help he will discover all his grandmothers secrets and her story...

Mitsuha is a normal girl of 17 years who lives in a little village, her dream is finish the school and move to Tokyo. Taki is a guy who lives in tokyo and doesn't know what to do with his life.
One day suddently they wake up in a different body, she was on his body and he was on her's one, the thing is that they have never met eachother but they are connected somehow.
They want to meet eachother... The destiny. the space and time plays a very important  role in the story...

This week was a little bit special. In school I didn’t do anything special, I did the same of all weeks. Yesterday, it was my birthday, in school everything was boring because is class except my friends, they try to do the class less boring.  Outside I spend all the evening with my best friend. About 8, I went to Taekwondo, everything was as always, but in the last minutes two of my friends in there appeared with 2 Kinder, and in there candles with 17. All of my friends sing to my the Happy Birthday, I really love them. Finally, when I was at home, my family brought  me a cake and sing me to the Happy Birthday.

Last friday was one of my favourites days of my life. I wook up at 7 o'clock and i got dressed. 
At 8 o'clock started de "caminada per les presos polítics" in San Quirze. I met some friends and we started walking to Barcelona.

I was walking during 5 hours without stopping and i got so tired, but it was worth it.
With my friends, I got funny, with the way, I did exersice, and with the cause, i gave support.

WHAT DOES "DEMONS" BY IMAGINE DRAGONS MEAN?

Demons is a song recorded in 2011 for Imagine Dragon's debut album "Night Visions". It became the second top 10 song from the band in the Billboard Hot 100, only after "Radioactive".

The song talks about depression and inner demons that we all carry with us. This can also be interpreted as a critique of society and an ode to never lose hope.

The first verse talks about having bad days and losing all that you've been fighting for. That includes being betrayed by the ones you loved and failing in all your dreams and ambitions.

In the pre-chorus, Dan, the singer, is trying to protect someone from some truths that could hurt him, but he is aware that he also could do it.

In the chorus, he explains that if you look into his eyes, that are the windows to the soul, you will see all the bad things that are in his life. He wants you to get away from him, so they won't affect you.

The second verse is focused on the moment when the singer stops trying to look good and happy and is shown to the other person how he really feels.

In the next pre-chorus, Dan says that he doesn't want to disappoint anyone, so he tries to appear that everything is fine but inside he is suffering and needing for help.

Finally, in the bridge, the singer explains that the person that he is talking with may be one of the few people that is not greedy or ambitious, so he ask for that person to stay away because he doesn't want to hurt him or her.

Anime Synopsis: Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (Carla Yu)

ANIME: Fullmetal Alchemist: Broderhood
Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood it's an anime based on a manga called Fullmetal Alchemist, written and ilustrated by Hiromu Arakawa and produced by studio BONES.
This manga had two adaptations into anime, one in 2003, Fullmetal Alchemist (FMA) and the remake in 2009, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (FMAB)
The first adaptation finished beafore the manga could end, causing that 2003's one have a different ending.
FMA had a very bad adaptation, his animation studio invented and changed a lot from the original story, personally I prefer Brotherhood, because it follows better the mangas's story and have a completed end.

PLOT:
This story is set in Europe, in a society where people can use alchemy: the science of the equivalent change.
Edward and Alphonse lost their mother when they where kids, and they tried to turn her back to life using alchemy, but it didn't work, and their mother's body became an homunculus (an horrible and deformed monster). The equivalent change law says that: for having aything you have to give something with the same  value. The equivalent change stoled Alphonse's body and Edward's leg, but before his brother's soul could get lost, Edward sealed him into an armor losing his arm.
Afted that, they became alchemists with the mission of find the philosopher stone and recover their bodies.

WE ARE ENGLISH: ACTIVITY

Dont’ touch! We are English!

English people think that you should avoid physical contact with strangers. When they ride on an underground train or stand in a crowded lift, they keep themselves to themselves. They read on trains or buses so that they don’t have to talk to people they don’t know. They avoid eye contact at all costs.

Research has shown that the English are much more conscious of their personal space than other nationalities, especially the Irish or the Scots, who seem more at ease with physical contact. The English allow much less contact, even with friends. And they can be upset if you touch them unexpectedly. You should never, for example, tap an English person on the shoulder if you want to attract their attention. It’s safer to cough or say: ‘Excuse me?’

When the English meet people for the first time, they shake hands, but then immediately move further away. Other nationalities, Spanish people or Egyptians, for example, move closer to someone they are speaking to, but not the English. The English think you shouldn’t get to close because it suggests a desire for intimacy. And they rarely kiss people they have just met at a party when they are leaving.

This week, I didn’t do a lot of things because I have 3 days of strike, Wednesday,Thursday and Friday. The two days I went to school I did a manual of some things about a OS (operation System) and some activities of how to do a web. In Wednesday, although I have strike, I did my first interview for practice, I was very nervous but I think I did well, I hope I will enter in this company, it will be amazing.

Last week at the english class we did the phrasal verbs like: calm down, bottle up, burst into, cheer up, chicken out and freakout. We also study the preposition : for, into, on, to. We did a writing about an informal letter / email. before we did this writing we read the learning focus for use the correct tone at the writing. And at the finally of the class we played to a game that you have to descrive a word without saing it .

WHAT IS GREEN DAY?

Green Day is a punk rock music band from Berkeley, California. It is composed by Billie Joe Armstrong, the guitarrist and the lead singer, Mike Dirnt, the bassist, and Tré Cool, the drummer. His leap to fame came with their successful album "Dookie", that contained songs like Basket Case and When I Come Arround. They have won five Grammy awards and have been named the best punk band in history.

Some of their songs have meanings and messages related to politics and injustices (protest songs), such as Wake Me Up When September Ends (refering to Irak war) or American Idiot (talking about how modern USA cares more about money and advertising than about people).

Other famous songs from their repertoire are Boulevard of Broken Dreams, 21 Guns, Holiday, Jesus of Suburbia, Know your Enemy, Good Riddance, Oh Love, Too Dumb to Die and Kill the DJ.

Currently, they are working on their new album "Father Of All Motherfuckers" and preparing the Hella Mega Tour with Fall Out Boy and Weezer.

I will never go to the Casino, really, I'm bad betting. I think that if I ever go to the Casino, I will get poor.
Also, I think it was because the nervous (irony) or maybe because I didn't understand anything.
Sometimes, when I'm in class, I feel stupid because I don't know some of the qüestions that for the rest of the class are obvious.

RELS B

Rels b is my favourite singer. I listen to him always that I can. If I'm in the street and I need to listen to music, I listen to Rels b. I love all of his songs above "made in Taiwan" I'ts my favourite one. I like his songs mostly because of his letters. His songs talk about superiority and good life. Sometimes, when I'm sad or maybe inspired I listen to his songs because they relaxed me and make me calm down.

I wanted to put the song "made in Taiwan" but Rels b erased it for the "Rock&Roll". There was a hypothesis that said it was a song that was copied and that had to be deleted, but still, it is my favourite song.

Anime Synopsis: Magi (Carla Yu)

ANIME: Magi
Magi it's an anime and manga inspired in Mil y una noches, writted and ilustrated  by Shinobu Ohtaka and animated by A1-pictures.
The anime has two seasons with 25 episodes each other and one spin-off about the story of one character, Sinbad. The manga have 369 chapters and both, anime and manga, are finished.

PLOT:
In the world exist the magic, causing that, long time ago sudently, apeared some strange stuctures called dungeons, a very big towers with a magical labyrinth inside them. At the end of those labyrinths it's said that an incredible and misterious criature called Djinn can give to the one who conquired the dungeon the authentic  power of a king.
Aladdin, a misterious kid that doesn't know who is, will discover that he is a Magi, a mystical criature born to choose a true king, a king that will guide the whole world to the justice.
One day he mets Alibaba, a young guy that doesn't speak too much about himself. Immediatly they become friends and they decide to enter into one of those dungeons.

ANIME: DEMON SLAYER

Demon Slayer or in japanes Kimetsu no Yaiba it's an anime and manga writted and ilustrated by Koyoharu Gotoge, and animated by UFOTABLE.

PLOT:

The story puts us in Japan's Taisho age, in a society where humans have to survive or demons could ate them, but fortunately exist the Demons Slayers, samurais that have to kill the demons.

One day Tanjiro Kamado (the main character) was comming back from the village and discovered that all his family was dead, exept of his little sister, but she wasn't normal, she was turning into a demon... Tanjiro will become a demon slayer to defeat all the demons and find a way to turn back her sister into a human

Last week I have done a redaction about the environmental problems to participate in a concourse .
In it many childrens of spain can participate . I think it is an unic experience that FictionExpress is proposing to all of us. Bye.

This week in my school on I study IT, I learnt a lot o things about one theme, how to install a OS (operation system) in a PC or laptop. Also, I had to study thing of last year in English for an exam, this was more difficult than the installation because I didn’t remember it at all. Another thing I did was do a review of how create a web with a lot of items. This was mi week.

PRESENT PERFECT SIMPLE VS PRESENT PERFECT CONTINUOUS

Present perfect simple...

Uses the auxiliary verb have, followed by the participle.

Is used to talk about: 

• Actions that happened in the past but we don't say when. ex. We have studied abroad.
• Actions that started in the past and continue now. (For this cases we use for or since) ex. I have lived here since two years ago.
• Something that happened in the past but has a consequence in the present. ex. I have lost my keys, so I can't use my car.
• Actions that have finished recently. (For this cases we use just) ex. I have just finished my homework.
• Experiences and personal achievements. ex. I have travelled to Japan.
• Past actions that happened repeatedly. ex. I have bought here a lot of times.
• Superlatives. ex. Is the ugliest thing I've ever seen.

Present perfect continuous...

Uses the auxiliary verb have, followed by been and the verb in -ing.

Is used to talk about:

• Actions that have been done repeatedly in the past and still in progress. ex. She has been triying to reach that for a long time.
• Past actions that happened repeatedly and have a consequence in the present. ex. You have been running all day and now your body hurts.
• Emphasize how long we have being doing an action. (For this cases we use for) ex. I have been falling for thirty minutes.

Our names are Lucía,Anaïs,Carla and Alejandra.We are doing this project because we want to explain our lives. 
Alejandra,Lucía and Anaïs go to the same school.The name of the school is Balmes and we go with uniform but Carla goes to Maristes and she goes with normal clothes.

We are a part of the silent group: Claudia, Emma and Laia. Claudia is 16 and Emma and Laia 14. We live in Rubi. Emma goes to IES l'Estatut, Laia to IES Torrent dels Alous and Claudia does a FP of TIC in Universitat Gimbernat. We do some sports, Claudia does Taekwondo, Emma does padel and Laia plays handball. We all like learning lenguages, now we are learning English.
